Take the frozen pentol out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes (while still in its plastic packaging).
While waiting for the pentol to thaw, you can prepare the broth for steaming. Use enough water and add seasoning to taste (you can use instant meatball seasoning).
Place the pentol on the upper part of the steamer (do not boil it). You can also steam the chili sauce to thaw it.
Use medium heat during the steaming process. This helps cook the pentol thoroughly, including the inside.
Steam for 10–15 minutes until the pentol is fully cooked.
To check if the pentol is ready, pierce one with a skewer—if it feels soft and springy, it is ready to serve.
